Full Circle Complete
I watched Toy Story 5 with E last weekend. She's been really obsessed with the toy I let her have -- Pickles the Frog. It was that toy that I was having trouble letting go of, but seeing her enjoy it so much (she even brought it to the movie) helped me feel more assured that it was now living out its best life as a toy.
After the movie, E said, "I'm like Bonnie, and my friend is like Blaze -- she's also super into Pickles just like Blaze likes Jessie. And you're like Andy." Which is exactly what I was thinking a few weeks back when I gave her Pickles, so I'd say I'm at peace with my choice now.
