It was indeed the eye
The calm in the eye of the storm lasted about 4 days until it picked up again! Thankfully the weekend has arrived and I am chilling now.
Interesting how contrast makes sweet things sweeter. A weekend after a long week of hard work is much more precious than a weekend after a long week of no work. Perhaps it’s not the contrast, but the rarity?
Certainly too much of a good thing can make it less special.
